Things I Love Thursday: Late night Love-in

Despite oceans of stress, and a lot of mental and physical aches and pains...
...It's been a pretty good week!!

This week, my fancy was tickled by...

♥ A Most Wanted Man. I saw this tonight, and my heart pounded the entire time!! Such drama!

♥ My little puppy statue!

How cute!!

I donate monthly to Heart Tokushima, a WONDERFUL loving no-kill animal shelter in Tokushima, Japan, where I lived for a bit. The operator, Susan, is an endless well of goodwill and care and love for animals of all sorts. As I recall, an elderly man carved a huge number of these little puppies by hand, and donated them to be sold in the charity shop? Or something like that...

...in any case, I was really shocked to come home tonight and find a package waiting for me with a newsletter and one of the little dogs inside!! It's so sweet and cute. I know looking at it will remind me of the good that Heart Tokushima is doing, and how we can all stand to do good acts towards animals and help out anything or anybody who needs it...
