Today I bought flowers to help with my writing assignment for my graduate program. They keep me company, and their beauty makes me cheerful and fancy-feeling. I was thinking about flowers lately, and when I saw them, I thought that they were too beautiful not to buy. As my friend says, that is the time when you should buy them. The white flowers are my mother's, from her garden.
Small good things give us love.
From Peony in Love, which I have yet to finish,
we are the ones who embrace emotions, who collect the leftover crumbs of seemingly meaningless days
My fingers are scratching at the surface of my diary, which has been dormant for several weeks now.
I want to go running tonight.
