 What is this blog about? 

Well, I don't really know, in just a few words. Let me try...

 It's about books 

...but not in the nice, orderly Book Review Website sort of way. I read a lot, and I talk about what I read, and why I read it. I talk about my personal library, and the thoughts that books create and inspire in real life. But there isn't a rating system. There isn't a book that gets a "10" score. Except maybe Catch 22, because it's the only book that I've ever read, loved whole-heartedly, and knew that I could never read again (because the magic is in how it ends, and unless you forget the ending, you'll never be struck so hard again). 

It's about librarians

I'm studying to be one, even though I'm not sure I want to be one anymore. I think I like being a student best of all, minus the part where everything is terribly expensive. 

It's about life, sort of

My life has stuff in it, for example, my family and my garden and my friends and people I secretly think are really attractive. It's basically a Babysitters Club book (HA! I almost typed "novel") out here. But that's just peripheral, and I probably won't be getting my tits out or anything.
